Leading but losing yourself in the process?

The Blended Brew™

An intimate 4-month cohort for Black Women senior leaders who refuse to choose between authenticity and impact.

launching February 3, 2026

You've earned your seat at the table. But at what cost?

If this resonates, keep reading.

The leadership models we inherited weren't designed for us.

Most leadership development assumes a neutral playing field. It doesn’t account for code- switching, the “only one” tax, or the exhaustion of proving your belonging while delivering exceptional results.

You’re not struggling because you lack skills or leadership capability. You’re struggling because you’re navigating systems and structures that weren’t built with Black Women in mind.  And sacrificing yourself, and needs, in the process.

The Blended BREW™ is different.

A space where you don’t have to explain context. Where your authenticity isn’t a liability. Where leading powerfully and being yourself aren’t mutually exclusive.

This is leadership development that starts from our lived experience—not as an afterthought, but as the foundation.

A 4-month journey back to yourself

The Blended BREW™ is an intimate, research-backed group coaching program that helps Black Women senior leaders reclaim their leadership through deep self-awareness, clarity, and purpose.

Over 4 months, you’ll move from:

What makes this different

Racially Intimate

Max 4 participants per cohort. Not 10. Not 15. Four.

Every session creates space for your voice, your challenges, and your transformation.

An invite-only experience with peer-level participants.

Culturally Grounded

Designed for, led by, and with Black women leaders. No code-switching. No explaining context.

We start from shared understanding.

Research-Backed

Every exercise draws from leading scholars: Dr. Tasha Eurich (self-awareness), Dr. Amy Edmondson (psychological safety), Dr. Robert Kegan (immunity to change).

Evidence, not trends.

Sustainably Structured

90-minute sessions, 2x a month,  weekly practices, and peer support.

Designed for leaders who don't have time to waste.

Why group coaching

If you’ve only experienced one-on-one coaching, group coaching might feel unfamiliar.  Think of it as your private boardroom—filled with people navigating their own leadership journeys, sharing insights, and building momentum together.

Group coaching is a unique space where personal growth meets collective wisdom.  Here are a few ways it has a powerful impact on leaders.

What it is

What it isn't

Why small cohorts change everything:

With just 4 participants (not 15, not even 8), every session creates space for depth. You’ll:

  • Ask and receive powerful, intentional questions that shift your thinking
  • Practice deep listening that builds trust and psychological safety
  • Reflect on shared experiences that unlock new approaches
  • Witness others navigate dynamics you’re also facing—and see yourself more clearly

One person’s breakthrough becomes everyone’s learning.

This is leadership development that honors your experience while expanding it through connection with peers who truly understand.

What leaders are saying about I, Matter! Coaching

M.S. (New York)
Sr. Technologist
"For the longest while I used to describe myself as a pineapple — prickly and rough on the outside but if someone invested the time to peel the pineapple, they would discover a sweet inside. With this coaching experience, I no longer embrace that image of who I am. First of all, ain’t nobody got time for peeling a pineapple! Folks want to get straight to the sweet inside. In reality, I needed to do more work to make myself strategically accessible to others. I needed to think and practice, “How can they get to know me with as few “clicks” as possible?” With Alexis’ thoughtful, firm yet soft, and fun coaching style, I began to be more honest with myself. I started to take ownership of who I am in action (not just in my head or on paper) and have found a great deal of peace and joy since I am no longer fighting this internal battle with my very creative imagination. Instead of having a whole conversation with someone in my head where I am usually the victim, I actually engage in real life and take ownership of my actions and how I can do better/different to feel more content with life! Who knew?!?! Ha!!"
E. J. (Texas)
Sr. Marketing Director
"iMatter Coaching has been life-changing for me. Alexis is professional, insightful and the best listener. She is so perceptive, it's often uncanny. I was in a career slump and she was able to help me sort through the noise to find what it was I was looking for. I'd recommend her services to anyone."
P. J. (Florida)
Sr. VP
"Alexis came into my life at a time where there was a great deal of uncertainty. The focus she was able to harness in me allowed me to prioritize my personal life over my professional one which had been the case for a long time. She gave me tidbits, economized her words, and offered questions that were well-time and allowed deep reflection. The exercises were meaningful and will allow me to not revisit past patterns that did not serve me. She allowed me to see the whole picture so that I could focus on the most impactful changes. As a result, I have a renewed assuredness that is informed by a positive reality. The new me is a reflection of the me that I always wanted to be. Obstacles, big and small are no longer struggles, but a pleasure to deal with now."
S.C. (Tennessee)
Sr. Director
"Before I started this coaching journey, I honestly thought I had things pretty figured out when it came to self-reflection and knowing who I was. Turns out, I was way off. This experience held up a mirror I didn’t even realize I needed. I started seeing old patterns and self-doubt I’d been ignoring, and it really opened my eyes. What surprised me most was how much more there was to learn about myself. I uncovered strengths and confidence I never really owned before. One of the biggest shifts is that I’m saying no more often, so I can finally say yes to what truly excites me. I’ve been advocating for myself in new ways, and I’m already reaping the benefits of it. The support I got through coaching helped me push past a lot of the stuff that used to hold me back. I am genuinely excited for what’s ahead. If you think you’ve already done all the “inner work,” I get it, but this showed me there’s always another level. Seriously, don’t sleep on the power of this kind of growth. It’s made a real difference for me, and I couldn’t recommend it more."
A. T. (New York)
Sr. Human Resources Professional
"Alexis helps you to see that your wholeness is always inside of you. You can find your answers within. She encourages you to learn to trust yourself and strengthen your confidence."

FAQs

Our first session begins on February 3, 2026, at 4 pm ET.  The initial session is 2 hrs, with subsequent sessions running 90 minutes 4-5:30 pm ET).

Cohorts are intentionally kept small, with four participants, ensuring meaningful discussions and tailored interactions.

Some cohorts are identity-based, while others include diverse perspectives to maximize learning and growth.  The Feb – May 2026 cohort is identity-based, focused on senior Black Women leaders.

During enrollment, interested participants complete an online registration form.  Within 2-3 business days, if a fit, you will receive a meeting link for a 15-minute Zoom discussion with Alexis Mobley, PCC, to confirm program alignment.

After that call, you will be notified, if applicable, on how to accept the program’s terms and conditions and make your payment.

Given the intimate nature of this program, attendance is required for at least 7 of 8 sessions, including the initial and final sessions.

It depends on your organization. Feel free to download this ‘Request for Employer Sponsorship‘ template for reimbursement submission. The form contains high-level program details, but allows you to edit and include additional supporting details your employer may require.

Absolutely! Support is available through a private Slack channel, where participants can ask questions or share updates. Questions directed to I, Matter! Coaching & Consulting will be answered within 48 hours from Monday to Thursday. Finally, there are also pre/post session resources and exercises.

It depends.  As with all things, you get out what you put in.  SO the more time spent navigating the pre/post sessions work, often, the deeper the transformation.

Group norms are collaboratively established during the onboarding session to promote transparency, build trust, and set clear expectations.

Group coaching offers diverse perspectives and peer support, while one-on-one coaching enables deeper, more personalized exploration of individual challenges.

Participants who pay in full receive one bonus one-on-one session during the program, and additional sessions are available for an add-on fee.
